Across the United States, owning a car is part of the culture, and fast food joints and drive-through diners have become part of the landscape. Since 2008, food trucks have thrived and managed to become part of the American culture. As a restaurant-on-wheels, they can cater to specific groups and events, such as late-night diners, clubs and bars, or music festivals. Food trucks have adapted to the vehicle culture, travel cities, updating their whereabouts to Facebook and Twitter followers. Nowadays they have a big part in the community with making food right where you are and Centenary College of Louisiana has used this to its advantage.
